  • Plenty of new material for fans. Cleverly written to feel like Father Ted's own, bizarre ramblings.

If you loved the TV show "Father Ted", then you may have already experienced this Book. What I especially like about this Book is the way it portrays itself as a collection of the Craggy Island Parish Magazines, (ostensibly written by Father Ted himself), with contributions from other regular characters from the Show. Instead of a cobbled together collection of rehashed material that has already been seen in the show - this is almost entirely new material. I loved Mrs Doyle's advice on making tea. The artwork submitted by a clearly deranged Parishioner is disturbingly amusing. A favourite is "Father Ted's 100 Best Priests". There is plenty here for fans.

  • As mad as the show ! .

Nice piece of merchandise on the show , which is in short supply . Based on a fictional newsletter by Father Ted and a Father Dougal , would have prefered a 'Making Of' photo piece with interviews etc , but for the price it is a bargain and is in keeping with the comedy of the show .
