In this book, the author seeks to set the record straight by telling his side of an incredible story that will astonish every golf club member. He claims that a named group of autocratic golf club committee officials at a prestigious Sheffield club placed themselves beyond the rules of the club which they enforced on others, and that they abused their position to cover up their own wrongdoings, whilst unjustly persecuting the author, leading to the loss of trust and the end of long-standing friendships, seriously affecting the lives of the author and his family. Ray Illingworth C.B.E. (former Yorkshire and England Cricket Captain) read the manuscript and immediately offered to write the foreword for the book which he acclaimed as Truly an amazing story . The author's story was not written for financial gain and all profits from book sales (currently in excess of GBP 5000) have been donated to the cancer charity.
