A split turbo intercooler is a common problem associated with Vauxhall/Opel insignia cars. Local garage quoted me £215.00 to supply and fit a replacement. I did some research and discovered many non OEM designs now on the market offering improved specification. In the end though I settled for an OEM product because: A. It was great value at £45.00 (with free postage) and B. The original got me to 98000 miles so can't be all bad. Product is fine quality comprising of a heavy duty hose, plastic bend and 2 easy-fit type connectors. It did not come with any fitting instructions but information is easy to find on the internet. I am not a mechanic but I am OK with a spanner. I fitted it in about 1/12 hours. Time will tell of course but 3 weeks gone since fitting - car running perfectly.UPDATE OCTOBER 2019 - car has done further 24000 miles - Hose is still going strongRead full review

This was well under Vauxhall’s main dealer price but I had it fitted by a Vauxhall master technician with no problems at all. Assuming you get the right type and date of the piece means you can get quality at less than main dealer prices. Thanks
