Worked well, can deliver much more than 1500 watts
For a few moments anyway, without modifying the shunt or beefing the traces Figuring out the wiring was pretty difficult, with all the extraneous connections. (search endless-spheredotcom for "18 fet mystery controller" for wiring help.) I did replace the ~13 ga phase and battery wires with 10Ga. I use this controller in my little 3 wheel 'pickup truck' which sometimes hauls 600 pounds around my ranch, and it never even gets warm. I'd give it five stars if the documentation was better and the power carrying wires were a bit larger gauge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Inexpensive and powerful... too powerful.
Good price for a powerful controller. Let me emphasize Powerful controller. I replaced a 500w controller with this and pretty immediately smoked two motors in a row. This is way too much for a geared hub motor. Looks like it took out the one way bearings on both of mine. Made a horrible noise. That isn't the fault of the controller... I got greedy with power as I was trying to get enough power to climb longer steep hills in Tacoma. I'm back to believing in bottom bracket drives that allow you to apply power through your bikes gearing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

45amps plenty of power for the price
I put two 48 volt batteries 25 amp batteries in series 96 volts . I’m using a 36 volt Chinese hub motor . I’m thinking this is 50 mph on a level road. I haven’t risen bike yet . Motor don’t get hot and controller does not get hot . Pretty much experimental so far. I’m sure it won’t be faster than my gsxr 750. Too slow for 1500 watts
