Insidious Chapter 2 (Blu-ray/DVD, 2013, 2-Disc Set, DC;UltraViolet)
I had no expectations of what the sequel would bring to the party. After seeing the promo I was won over. Anyone who has seen the promo/s will have an idea of what I mean. The one thing I do agree on is that any comment on this story would give away too much, but not to mention by word-of-mouth that this is a great supernatural horror movie would be a disservice. As many horror movies as I have seen,I sometimes think I am a little jaded, or even more accepting of the spook type of movies. For a truly scary movie this one touches all bases, and if James Wan is leaving horror, then that is a big loss to supernatural horror. If you have ever walked through an old house late at night which you thought was haunted and felt the chills, then this movie is for you. Even if you have ever seen what ... I wouldn't mind watching both parts again!!!!
For this movie to be a sequel, I thought it was a bit better than the first. This isn't usually the case but this one kept me on more on "the edge of my seat" type of movie as was the first. Chapter 2 gives more in depth insight to what is really going on in the beginning. All of the same people that were in the first one, were in Chapter 2 as well. After watching the original movie it gives you this feeling well there will be a part 2 here and certainly enough it was. Astral projection is a strange subject, which I've never really took the time to study about. In this second installment the movie is going smoothly and you think this will be it. Not so here however, I have a feeling there will be a chapter 3 in the future which I would watch without question after viewing the first ... Barbara Hershey doesn't have a huge part in either movie, but still did an excellent job in both of these!!! Don't pass these up if you're into supernatural and such Genre' of movies such as this one~!

One of the scariest ghosts films ever made , a real masterpiece of terror.
When we though that in the first part of this great ghosts movie , that Dalton was the chosen one to be chased by terrific ghosts ; it isn't until this sequel that we get to know the truth about this story. First was Dalton , and now is his Dad. What had really happened in the first part , here we can find all of the answers to our questions , regarding Dalton's tragedy. The plot , special effects and performs of the crew is fantastic. One of the scariest movies I've seen to date. Awesome, and interesting.
I bought this movie because it's one of the most scariest and interesting horror movies I've seen. I've seen the first one and it was a big hit for a low budget movie, the first one was a success. When this one came out in theatres, people couldn't wait for it and was more excited to see the sequel. I can't wait to watch this at home, awesome sequel, probably better than the first, if not, just as good.I bought this movie because it's one of the most scariest and interesting horror movies I've seen.
