A not too demanding doggie weepie........
The book is a very easy read but very sad in places. It is more adult in tone than the film. An excellent ultimately uplifting book about the unconditional love given by animals.

Enjoyable book with a difference as it is about life but through the eyes of a dog. Well written and quite emotional in places, an appealing story for anyone who loves dogs, I bought it to read on holiday but couldn't put it down and so read it really quickly, I would reccomend to other readers.

I had to buy "A Dog's Journey" after this. Another wonderful book.
I read this and wept buckets. Do not read in company. A wonderful book that gives you a lot to think about. Best kept for an evening in alone with a huge box of tissues. The author knows and understands dogs and their owners and the importance of the emotional bond between the two.
