Wartime Drama Stands the Test of Time
a great series that has stood the test of time, well scripted, well acted and dramatizing the Blitz in a way that captured the tension, boredom and "live for today, there may not be a tomorrow" attitude that went with "keep calm and carry on".

Best TV series ever!
We discovered this amazing programme when Channel hopping when there was nothing we wanted to watch. We only caught the end of the programme but were totally hooked and looked forward to seeing a whole episode. I then bought my husband the box set which he watched night after night. The plots and acting were superb, the drama was in the actors faces and delivery of lines not the wretched loud crashing music you get in more recent programmes. I most totally recommend Danger UXB as first class viewing, Anthony Andrews and Maurice Roeves head a magnificent cast and every episode was superb. A realistic, not over dramatic portrayal of the immensely brave young men who diffused bombs at enormous risk to themselves. Excellent reminder of things past
When this series first appeared on TV I found it exciting and compelling. Gives good indication of what the bomb disposal units really went through and the sacrifices many of them made. It was great to buy these DVDs and see them all again. I wish more of the "oldies" were available.
