Z1000sx 2013 k+n Air filter
I've always ran k+n on my bikes. I'm using k+n oil and air filter. Improvement in throttle response and slightly nicer raspier noise on hard acceleration. Does exactly what it says on the tin really. I've read stories about not as good dirt particle filtration but I've never had an issue with em.

Great upgrade from standard
K&N filters are renowned the world over for improving airflow to a vehicle. I upgraded my air filter on my new Versys 1000, and i can hear the bike gulping in air now when i wind the throttle open. Before it sounded a bit asthmatic, not anymore. Bike now has better throttle response as well. Throw in the fact it doesn't need changing until 75,000 miles, and i think it's a bargain. Highly recommendedK&N filters are renowned the world over for improving airflow to a vehicle. Like wearing a mask - no you don't and nor does your engine!
We all hate wearing masks - and so does your engine! K&N air filters make such a difference to the breathing of you vehicle. As a result it will burn less fuel and offer more power, whilst burning fuel more cleanly so producing less nasties! You only need to buy one once as it can be cleaned, so no replacements required yearly - so they'll save you money in the long run too. Wow.

Poor quality and defective.
The filter I recieved was poorly manufactured, so much so that it doesnt actually fit fully into the mounting in the airbox so is useless. Very disappointed to see such bad quality from something marketed as a premium product.
