Excellent album of their greatest hits. . ;)
I had been an admirer of The Sutherland Brothers from way back, but then I heard one one mention their track "Dream Kid". . I thought, I will go and dig that CD out and have a listen. . Arrrrgh!!!. . I couldn't find it. . :( Buying The Greatest Hits and with Quiver as well was well worth the money. The opening track, "The Pie" still as fresh as ever, and although I do like Sir Rod singing ""Sailing", the original version by these guys definitely beats him for the thumping feeling of a steamboat or the driving drum beats that are associated with the slave rowers on the galley ships. ;) Highly recommend this album, which was dispatched and delivered very swiftly. .
