    It worked!

    After hot water but no central heating, and a wait of 2-3 weeks for a trusted plumber, and reassured by the helpful YouTube video, I gave this a go... and it worked! Our old cartridge was much harder to remove than in the video, but with perseverance we replaced it in about an hour, and now have working central heating! Whoop! 😀

    You can do it yourself!

    With this kit, you will save hundreds of pounds, supported with an easy step by step video and the special tools included, you can repair the valve yourself. Definitely recommend this product to extend the life of your boiler if your diverted valve fails. Excellent !

    Good value but some non fitting parts in the package

    Good kit, except that the 2 o rings were actually too thick and the new part would not seat properly for alignment of fixing screws. I had to use old old o rings, which were luckily still usable.
