I've seen this movie on some Dish Network channel and loved it. Saved it on my DVR and occasionally watched because I enjoyed it so much. Then I had to change DVRs and lost the recording. It is nice to now have a Blu Ray copy. The characters are superbly played - Gary Oldman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Colin Firth and the rest of the cast were outstanding. A great story and great mystery.

Difficult to keep my attention - Not entertaining - Difficult to follow - I also have the British version which is much more interesting to watch and there is more clarity of the players

I’d heard some bad reviews about this movie— yet the critics gave it awesome reviews. I decided to take a chance and see it for myself— and was very happy to have purchased it! It is very ‘involved’, and you definitely have to pay attention or you won’t know what’s going on. I think I had more trouble than usual because of British jargon, but nothing I couldn’t figure out. Not much in the way of action— but I don’t particularly mind that. Not a movie for everyone-you’ll either love it or hate it!

This is not James Bond. It's not Jason Bourne. But this an excellent look at the true world of spycraft. It gives a real feel of the 70's. It is slow but is also deliberate and draws you in to find out who the mole is. Take the time to get wrapped up in it.

A good story, but after the Alex Guinness version it is difficult to accept the new characters at first viewing. The interview with John Le Carre was the best part!
