    Great cheap purchase!

    I bought this loupe with the intention to identify minerals in Oregon basalts for geologic mapping this past week and it did just that. Bright light and great clear magnification. Item help up through rough conditions and did not scratch. Great buy.

    Great quality, a bit too powerful for everyday curiosities or seeing aides.

    Nice all metal construction. The 20X is perhaps the most that you can use for normal practical "things" as it is quite powerful Given a 10X setting on side of it I would probably reach for the 10X most of the time. I purchased a 40X first not realizing the power and it is so powerful it is useless for every day needs. More of a gemologist or biologist too. Try a 10 or 15X first if you can find one.

    Great value!

    This is my first loupe, so I can't compare it to others. What I can say is that it seems very high quality. It's sturdy & heavy, but not too heavy. Small enough for your pocket or purse. The light is BRIGHT! But when using beside a lamp, the light is unnecessary for many back stamps. I ordered 2 - One for the house & one for the car. Always prepared! Highly recommended.

    I use these in manufacturing to inspect critical knurls.

    These are a great value for manufacturing on the shop floor. Cheap enough but function perfect for looking at product during manufacturing. I got poked fun at a few years back when I started using these by myself now the engineers and machinist's both think they are great. I've been giving them away. I believe the company is now gonna put in a rec order for them. Yippee for me !!

    Loupe protected in own Luggage!

    I liked this loupe because it is carefully packed in a tight plastic box, within a cardboard one. I've had some issues with these sensitive loupes with led illumination-- but suffice to say, if all were better protected through transport and shipment, there might be less issues. This one, as did others, came from China. It is made durably, but most importantly, is that the sensitive led mechanisms are better protected with this particular loupe. The leds actually go off if you put the switch to 'fully' on--but it works., and it certainly is a good value.
