Perfume: The Story of a Murderer is a true modern classic that allows you to explore a different 18th-century France and a whole other type of humanity. Perfect for anyone who loves satire or an anti-hero. It’s dark, it’s sadistic, it’s delicious.I read it on my bus journey to work, a few times I have nearly missed my stop, you get lost in this book.
