This is an excellent book for the beginner or the seasoned professional. It describes all aspects of various baking and baking techniques. There are a large assortment of recipes contained in this book. I have done baking professionally and found the book to be extremely helpful as well as having some very tasty recipes. This book is well designed with a lot of beautifully illustrated pictures of the products. I was impressed! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who really enjoys cooking.

I actually bought the book because I love baking and I particularly liked the picture on the cover. The illustrations were great. I could almost lick the pages. There were step by step instructions. Even though I do a lot of baking I am not an expert. This book serves the novice well but is thorough. I would definnately recommend you purchase it.
This a great cook book for the baker in the house. Easy to follow recipes and great tasting deserts and pies. Everything I ever baked from this book was a huge hit.
