Inexpensive, well made, robust and will do the job.
Wish I could find one that had a good protective coating. Heavy galvanising would be good as this shock absorber is fitted to a mooring chain and subject to regular salt water immersion, so it will have rusted away in a couple of seasons. I would pay more for one properly coated..

This product is of very high quality. It is much stronger and more robust than any similar products that I have purchased in the past. I am therefore convinced that it will easily stand up to the stresses imposed on it. My boat is in a very exposed mooring position and previous products have failed in a very short period of time. Great product at a very reasonable price.
