    A book for now and the future

    This book is part of a set about the 'Long Earth ' it is a great adventure with humour and a must read more drive. If I could I would just sit and read from cover to cover. And although not in a preaching way has relevant issues for today! All in a great package!

    The fourth volume; taking the story yet further into The Long Earth.

    The fourth volume of 'The Long Earth' series brings the main characters - Joshua Valienté, Sally Linsay and Lobsang - together once more, to deal with a rather unusual threat. Combined with this storyline, there are several sub-plots throughout the book, with new individuals being introduced, and some old ones departing! I felt that this novel had rather more to offer than the previous three - perhaps because we have come to understand the totally conflicting personalities of the central characters. Hopefully this is all building to a dramatic fifth and final volume.
