    Only Specific CPUs

    An older Core Duo processor may work on this board, but you will get a message every time you boot it. Check with HP's QuickSpec PDF file to see what CPUs this was set up for. Interesting fact, the 6000, 6005, 6200, 6300, and others all have interchangeable motherboards; although, if the board came out of a Microtower, you may get a message regarding the rear fan if a PWM fan is not connected.
