    Doesn’t fit properly

    I bought 2 bosses 1 for a defender and one for a classic mine and both bosses having bought the correct ones still wouldn’t properly fit over the steering column. I had to get professional help and the use of a lathe to increase the size of the hole to make it fit and then the indicator cancelling prongs weren’t long enough so I need to again get professional help. I would not recommend buying Mountney steering wheel bosses they’re we’re no instructions or anything. Huge disappointment

    Does the job for now

    While it has done the job for now and works as a boss kit, the product itself seems to be manufactured poorly and with a cheap quality metal. The surface was covered in sharp burrs which suggested a poor quality finish, and the thread holes were easily damaged.

    Steering wheel boss.

    The steering wheel boss is not the same as photo.very tight on the splines to put on,the screws heads are to big.
