very interesting book following the career of an interestin man

this book i recommend if you are looking for an insight into the career of a great grand prix designer from his entry up to his more or less departure from the sport over some 35 years or so. if you are looking for technical information on the design and development of grand prix cars in specific's, this is probably not the book you are looking for. this is not to say that there isn't a lot of detailed nuggets to glean from the reading, but this is clearly not the goal of this book. i found the book quite well written, and a good read, and i came away understanding the internal working of a typical grand prix team, the politics involved, and all the ups and downs of winning and losing, along with losing someone's life as a result of a crash. • Excellent autobiography of a flawed man

The selfishness and single-mindedness that made him great is laid bare (unintentionally?) in this autobiography. Passionate detail of a career with loved ones only as a distraction and afterthought. I still love his work, but not a fan of him as a person after reading. A compelling, quick, and easy read for a F1 fan. Recommend!

  • Awesome book from a F1 top designer.

its Adrian Newey. top F1 designer like Gordon Murray. You get to read his approach of designing race cars and that just may help you for your own pursuit.
