    Works well with the Starbucks Barista SIN006 model. The handle and base are made of plastic versus the original model that came with the machine (25 years ago???) But the portafilter insert is the same size and as the original unit and fits with no issues. It's lighter weight, just perhaps not as durable as the old one.

    Time will tell....it is lightweight, but is it also light strength?

    Perhaps this is because it is new, but the strainer basket falls out easily, so when you tap it upside down to get the puck out, the strainer basket likes to fall out with it. The portafilter functions perfectly. It feels a bit light, and as a consequence it feels like it is lacking in strength. It would feel better if it simply had more weight in the handle or the handle was filled with something so it didn't feel hollow. But, if it works well and lasts, those are the most important things for me. I've gone through two "OEM" portafilters which felt more substantial but both broke within a couple years.
