Brilliant tool
Everyone that lives near ticks should have these. Used finger nails or tweezers for years and sometimes left tiny bits of tick leg in the skin which can get infected. Very easy to remove the whole thing first time with these twisters. Tried some other generic items before and they were rubbish. I've bought three sets of these O'Tom twisters, they keep getting 'lost' when people borrow them.

Tom Tick Twister
I was recommended the O'Tom Twister by the lady who looks after our dog once a week. She used it once to remove a tick from our Cocker Spaniel. As he loves sniffing through grass, I have bought one just in case it's ever needed! As I haven't had the need to use it yet I can't rate it higher, but it's one of those things which are good to have as a standby.

Brilliant little gadget
As the tick had been attached to my terrier's face for several days I had to use the larger tool to get around its plump body. After a few practice twirls I tackled the offending tick and it "popped" out as easily as anything. I do recommend a little pre-tick-attack practice to ensure you can keep the tool directly over the tick as you twirl as I don't think the removal would be complete otherwise. The tools are quite small and can easily flick from your fingers until you master the twirl action confidently and competantly. Tiny but tough on ticks
Simple little tool but so clever and handy. Used once hopefully never again but a must have in the dog grooming kit. Sturdy little thing for the size but easy to use and a god send.
