A great insight into the Legend and Aura of the Spitfire and to the Hero's that flew and maintained them.
If you enjoy history and like aircraft then this is a must watch documentary about the the famous Spitfire. The many interviews with pilots who flew during the war, allow a fascinating window into what made this aircraft so special in its contribution to the defeat of the Luftwaffe. Many of the pilots recollections are quite moving. The combination of both modern and original footage showing the spitfire in action help tell a great story.If you enjoy history and like aircraft then this is a must watch documentary about the the famous Spitfire. The many interviews with pilots who flew during the war, allow a fascinating window into what made this aircraft so special in its contribution to the defeat of the Luftwaffe.
