size is smaller than normal i take 46 ,47 would be equal to normal 46, I purchased these as i have a high instep and the twin zippers usually accommodate this in riding boots. However the {tongue inside the boot} is so thick and tight i couldn't fit them !! i tried heat /and lotions to stretch them to no avail ,have sent them to a boot maker to see if he can modify them ..
