    D'Addario EJ63i STRINGS

    As usual, great strings. I always use J60's on my 5-string Banjo's so when I inherited a IRISH TENOR BANJO I went the same route. I have never had any problems with D'Addario Strings. These were mediums. A little heavier than I use on my 5-Strings, but the IRISH TENOR BANJO is played differently.

    These affordable tenor banjo strings are of high quality. They are very playable and produce an excellent, bright tone on my 1960's silvertone resonator banjo. Highly recommended!

    Good value, functional choice

    Probably the most commonly used brand of strings for many fretted instruments. These are acceptable quality for the price, and will do the job for most performers, but they are not necessarily the "gold standard." Certainly good quality for a student, though, and a good return on the amount invested.

    Tenor banjo strings.Outstanding sound.

    I have a Irish Tenor banjo that is over 105 years old. Once I put those Irish Tenor strings on it, she was sounding great.
