    Best Retro Fit Roller Door Motor

    This was a retro fit of a older and smaller model and it connected and worked perfectly. Nice smooth noiseless action on a large domestic door. Also the older Merlin motor remotes work this new motor....

    It just works.

    Easy to install, works reliably. Exactly what I expected. The instructions are easy to follow but should add one tip. There is a moment during the installation that you need some brute strength (when the existing mounting bracket is removed to slip on the motor, and then re-bolted to the wall). That's the time to have a reliable mate helping you - or have a suitable jacking device already in place. There are lots of Youtube videos specifically for Merlin or Chamberlain openers, so you can see the process before you attempt it. Once the installation is complete programming extra devices is ridiculously simple and quick (about 5 seconds each device). After that it just works.... what more can you ask for?

    Great value for money

    B&D wanted $800 to replace our garage door drive when the old one started to fail. I replaced with this one for $500 less. It was easy to fit, easy to program, and even quieter compared to the original. Awesome product delivered on time.
