Stops the chair scratching the floor

You get what you pay for - they're not very substantial
I had read previous reviews for this product - as it was cheap and so I decided to try it for myself. The cups are 'large' in diameter, which is what I needed, but they are very, very shallow. They are padded on one side, which helps stop them sliding across the carpet / flooring. I've put them under chair legs on carpet. Because they're so shallow, the chair legs slip out of the castor cups with just the slightest movement of the chair. It's actually quite difficult to set them up in the first place and once they're there I wouldn't sit on the chair as I'm convinced at least one will slip - possibly causing the chair to topple too. As the chair is in a spare bedroom, I'm just going to remove them whenever anyone uses the room (not often) and put them back to protect the carpet ... Also there are no holes on the top off the holder to access the volume controls. Will have to gel my pen knife out to adjust same. However just say the package seems to be very satisfactory. Great value wooden floor protection
Casters on our dining room settee have wooden cups to avoid scratches on our wooden floor but they regularly come off. These cups stay warm n place and protect the wood. Excellent product and great value
