Author Biography
Clare Mackintosh spent twelve years in the police force, including time on CID, and as a public order commander. She left the police in 2011 to work as a freelance journalist and social media consultant and is the founder of the Chipping Norton Literary Festival. She now writes full time and lives in North Wales with her husband and their three children.Clare's debut novel, I Let You Go, is a Sunday Times bestseller, has been translated into thirty languages and was the fastest-selling title by a new crime writer in 2015, selling over one million copies worldwide.     Compelling doesn’t cover it!

    I hate the term “page Turner” but this book fits that description!! I couldn’t wait to turn the page to see what would happen next. Edge of your seat good!! The sort of book that you want to race your way through but at the same time you don’t want it to end! Amazing storyline, great relatable, strong characters, can’t wait to read more!
