Delivery etc fine but though I enjoyed Moorcock's books when young this seem staid and predictable and not much fun to read. I must be getting old!

  • I think I have aged!

I really enjoyed Michael Moorcock stories as a young man, so after more than 20 years I thought I read this and two others again. Unfortunately, for me they have badly aged or I have. I found them predictable, monotonous with drab prose. The main characters seemed to merge into one, despite different disability or colour of hair, were frequently in "nameless fear" and relied on a convenient turn of luck to get out of their next crisis. No longer for me.
