    McCartney at his post Beatles best

    McCartney hasn’t rocked this consistently good since the Beatles threw in the towel, nor has he sounded so passionate & committed to every performance on this wonderful record & the title track “Run Devil Run” is the hardest rock he has recorded in decades. A all around bonafide surprise & a gas to experience over & over & over…

    RUN DEVIL RUN

    Nice mix of covers & a few original McCartney songs. This album rocks! Covers are well done & the originals show the Paul was still at his best when this album came out in 1999. Also watched the video, on YouTube, filmed at the new Cavern. Great show, well worth watching.

    I love this album. Maybe my favorite Paul solo. Great playing sidemen. Mostly covers that rock harder than his own output. Sounds like the old Paul, maybe the one that died back in the '60s. If you like early Beatles you might like this.
