    Family entertainment, beautiful scenery, simple storytelling

    I remember watching these movies back in the day. Loved them then and still love them now. Granted, the plots in all 3 movies do overlap but that's to be expected given the nature of the movies. It was a little jarring to see the daughter in the 2nd and 3rd movies being played by a different actress with no explanation given (I guess the character had a major growth spurt!) but frankly, she was less annoying that the original one. The scenery is beyond spectacular and I get a very strong urge to take a trip to the mountains... until I see the bears, wolves, and cougars! These movies are great for the entire family and it's nice to watch something that's simple and wholesome.

    A family story for all ages,full of adventure and fun.

    The Wilderness Family Trilogy is my favorite family adventure movies of all time. It is a heartwarming story that has some humor, and a little bit of suspense. It is filled with excitement, spectacular photography and a great assortment of wildlife and natural wonders. The animal are the real starts here - the bear cubs, the raccoons, and the lovable old black bear. My grandchildren have watched it over and over again. I highly recommend it. A word of caution, however, some of the scenes may be too disturbing and intense for younger or more sensitive kids.
