Japanese Genre at it's best.
'Blade Of The Immortal' is the best Japanese film I have ever seen. The plot is exceptionally plausible. The directing of the film is phenomenal, and the actors are brilliant. Takuya Kimura is a fantastic actor whose cold, stark, demure adds a blistering pace to the action. Hana Sugisaki, who plays the young 'Rin', seeking revenge for the callous murder of her parents, places a certain 'innocence' to the story-line. This film has a fast pace, action filled, and blood-thirsty fight scenes with an impossibly high body count.
