    Castor Cups for Carpet Protection

    The cups are nicely made and protect the carpet as required. However, I wish to use them with wooden chair legs rather than castors and for that the legs slide around in the cups too much. To reduce this problem I have inserted layers of cardboard into each cup. I think a rougher inside to the cup or some fabric based padding would have improved the product.

    Glide smoothly with the caster cups.

    I wanted this type of caster cups and was delighte to find they still existed. I had four for years but somehow one got broken or lost. I have an old wooden chair which made such a noise on the Karndean floor but with these on the legs the noise has gone and the chair slides smoothly into place. They could also be used under my caster sofa on the carpet so I think I'll buy another set.

    Protect

    The cups do exactly what I wanted them to do. They protect a carpet if you have furniture with small casters on, and also do the job I wanted which is to protect the lining under my stones in the back garden from being damaged by the props I put out for my washing.
