In the end I realised I didn't need this (for now) as the additional internal SAS headers available anyway on the R730 machine I acquired were sufficient, and I haven't tested it - but delivery and packaging were great and my other items from the seller all work perfectly. I have confidence in the item for when/if I use it in the future. I probably will - I might get more performance over-all. But too snowed-under to test for a while.
