clean disc and nice bonus features
The disc wasn't scratched or anything, which I was very pleased about. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the bonus features available on the disc, it was very enlightening. It also shipped pretty quickly as well. Overall, I think this was a good purchase. Definitely worth the watch, even if you weren't that into the original.

Soft touch on serious issues
Okay so it's not the original. Disney's sequels seldom measure up to the originals, some are real bombs, but this is better than most. I loved how it touched on the difficulty of a father stepping in to raise his child alone. Both are strangers who, after losing a loved one, have to learn to be a family and they learn this from each other. Originally neither one knows how to cope with this new person in their life but love grows. The child learns courage and responsibility and the parent learns how to have fun and show emotion. Intermingled in the story are all of the original fun characters like Thumper and his sisters as well as Flower the lovable skunk. Sad & Happy
This movie was a present for my son and the first time I watched it I cried. My 3 year old didn't but I did. He has now watched it at least 7 times in a week. He loves it! It picks up where Bambi left off with Bambi's dad trying to take care of him and still be a "man". However, his heart is opened up to be a caring and loving father to this young deer. It teaches children about death (just a touch), about caring, and about friends. It's not a long movie at all. It is a Disney movie. Bambi 2
Bambi is a film that is a must see if you have not already have seen it at least once in your lifetime. It is a beautiful,inspiring story that touches your heart. I have liked this story ever since I was a small child. Some of my best memories include myself when I was younger watching the original movie on cable television. I still like this original film and also the second even though I am 16 years old, I still love it because I think that it has somewhat changed my life. It has helped me think about things differently on certain things such as life and nature. Bambi is a good film to see if you like the Dinsey Classics. Once again I think that anyone that has not ever seen or read about this story should read the book or watch the movie because it can touch our heart, but it also has some sad scenes that you may want a box of tisues by your side when you watch the film. I will always love this story no matter what happens.

Bambi II
I bought this movie for my young children because they loved the first Bambi. My 3 year old daughter really enjoyed Bambi II but my 2 year old son couldn't stay focused on it. I thought it was a good movie, showing the importance of a father/son relationship, while most movies only show mother/child relationships. It showed the discipline of a father as well as having fun. I also liked that there was no death in this movie as was in the first one. I would recommend this movie.I bought this movie for my young children because they loved the first Bambi.
