    good solid changeover switch

    'idiot proof' change over switch excellent quality although easy to fit i would always recommend a qualified electrician should fit.it Over the years i have fitted numerous c/over switches and this one is the equal of any of them even those more expensive types,you can buy this unit with confidence and i have no doubt it will last a long time

    A great alternative to cumbersome and expensive rotary switches.

    Easily installed in a consumer unit if there's space for it, or in a separate box if not. I use these with an off grid solar setup to switch between separate inverters and between solar and grid power.

    A well designed switch.

    Perfect for our domestic installation where we wanted to preserve a supply for two fridges, two freezers, heating pump, two computers and basic lighting. Now we can get it set up and running inside two minutes. Hardest part of the job was bending the 16mm tails into the switch, so connected them up before screwing to the back plate. Works a treat. The switch is well designed and can be turned around for door hanging how you want it. I fitted the incoming male socket directly to the bottom of the switch as you can see in the photos. I fitted an automatic emergency light above it that you can see so you are not working in the dark.

    Single Phase Mains changeover switch - fantastic value

    A simple device which does exactly what is needed to provide changeover between Mains and Generator (or alternative) supply for single phase. It is very good value and is also available as a raw switch without the box. The switch is identical in style to the standard Wylex pattern 4-way Isolator with a similar profile to standard MCBs.

    Used this as a changeover switch from house to generator, Usefully the din rail inside will also hold a relay. Good value unit Only four stars as the case is a bit flimsy but quite adequate
