    Great title, and explains the book very well.

    My husband and I are huge Michener fans and were very pleased to be able to purchase a book that was his first one published. It is actually in very good shape, especially for a paperback, and we're already enjoying it. I think it's good for people to know how our troops fared in the islands during World War II. We thank you for this opportunity to own this classic book.
