The duckweed I ordered came late, upon opening the envelope I knew something wasn't right with it. It had loads of black bits, bits of twig, leaves. I put it in a clear container as I didn't want to put it in my aquarium. After the water cleared a bit I saw mosquito larvae, snails. The duck weed was no bigger than 1mm in diameter. Overall I'd say it was not going in my fish tank and threw it out in the garden. If your buying it for a pond, it's perfect but not for the home aquarium

Super dense, well rooted. Came with bladder and ramshorn snails in, but I already love snails. Seems as if straight from a healthy pond. Sat it in clean water for 30 mins and checked for pests first - nothing but snails. Odd smell as a few dead bits but mostly due to sitting in package. Would buy again but don’t need to as there was so much!

way more than 500 in there so very good for price though all the dead ones float to the bottom of the tank and around the filter for a while but shrimp and fish can just eat it and it clears up no time. quite messy but very good for price amazing deal!
