The duckweed I ordered came late, upon opening the envelope I knew something wasn't right with it. It had loads of black bits, bits of twig, leaves. I put it in a clear container as I didn't want to put it in my aquarium. After the water cleared a bit I saw mosquito larvae, snails. The duck weed was no bigger than 1mm in diameter. Overall I'd say it was not going in my fish tank and threw it out in the garden. If your buying it for a pond, it's perfect but not for the home aquarium

My gold fish just eat this before it even had time to grow. Happy fish I have just ordered a second lot. I am sure it won't lats long. Toys and food for Mty fish lol. Sorry I never left a reveiw for the first batch until now. But new to the fish keeping hobby and just wasn't sue. But happy fish happy customer. Not buying duckweed before I read a lot of stuff on the Internet and was just not sure. But for goldfish boy they love it.
