      Price doubled in 3 years

      Prior to the demise of the incandescent light bulbs these bulbs were a good value, but when the CFL bulbs took over the price increased. Now that the LED light bulbs have replaced the CFL's the price has increased again. This is because of the manufacturing costs. Zoo Med manufacturers high quality products only. I just don't know what lies ahead for those of us that love the reptiles. The price on these bulbs was the lowest that I could find, and it was double what the price was 3 years ago. The quality remains the same - great!

      Burns out in 1 month

      These bulbs consistently burn out in approximately 1 month and no one cares. My lizards need them so I keep buying them but very frustrating!
