    Blinding bright, a lot of waste

    Crazy bright burning rods, I've bought both the 1/16" and 5/64" from this company and the first 3-4 inches of the rods burn so bright and hot you can't see anything, once your burn off the beginning of the rods they weld great, so a lot of waste really. Sometimes they burn so hot and bright it destroys what you are trying to weld, and considering you buy these thin rods to weld thin material makes it more difficult not to burn through. The only way to get them to burn normal and not blind you while you are welding is to cut off the first 3-4 inches and throw it away. Another problem we are having is re-arcing, you can't get an easy restart the coating covers the electrode and you have hit it really hard on a surface or cut it off to get clean restarts, absolutely brutal welding rods...
