About this product

Product Information

SimCity 3000 Unlimited takes the third-generation edition of the SimCity game and loads it up with lots of extras and customization options. Built on the successful 1998 PC title SimCity 3000, SimCity 3000 Unlimited offers gamers four new disasters, including a shower of burning space debris and a plague of locusts. 13 new scenarios offer challenges for newcomers and veterans of the series alike. This enhanced version also features new Building Sets, allowing the design of cities with an Asian or European look in addition to the familiar North American styled cities featured in SimCity 3000. Players can create their own buildings from scratch as well. This version of the game also includes a powerful terrain editor and cities can be placed on a snowy plain, a dusty desert, deep in a humid jungle, or among a stand of giant redwoods.

    Entertainment for hours

Great PC game that gives hours of entertainment. Offers suggestions of game play options and save game play status at any time, multiple times. Good clear graphics and details during game play, with entertainment value. Many options of design and build, keeps one challenged to watch status during game play and managing options and details. Easy and steady pace or speed it up to your liking.

  • Great time killer.

I've had all of the Sim City games from the first one to 3K along with streets of Sim City and one of my favorites, Sim Copter. Both 2K and 3K are basically the same with zone layouts, mass transit and disasters, but the thing that set 2K apart are the graphics, and the new and, some times funny, disasters. With the newest Sim City out, Sim City 4 I think, 3K can be found for pretty cheap anymore and is a great buy. The only thing is if you buy a used one first make sure that you can get a valid serial number from the seller and they guarantee it to be good. I think this is a great game for most people but some don't have the attention span for this kind, and yes after a while it can get boring, but for the most part it's always fun to play god and create a successful city, and even ...

  • No blood, no sex... But still fun

Finally a game without blood that is actually fun. Alright, let’s start with pros: -good graphics and great details -zoomout and zoomin feature is pretty amazing -easy to manage your city and fun things to build and manage -building things are fairly cheap -different calamities to inflict are hilariously fun. Such as alien abductions, falling meteorites, fire, riots… -already-made cities to manage or mess around with. And realistic as hell. I once loaded Seoul, Korea (where I was born and raised in) and found it shocking that it was as if I was watching a satellite imagery. Same happened when I loaded Los Angeles. -very fun scenarios (city campaigns) to overcome. For example, the London Fire scenario was amazing. -pretty realistic compared to the games of its age OK. Now ...

  • A vintage city simulator that still holds up well today

It has some noticeable problems compared to modern games, but overall it remains an enjoyable experience. Lighter on the system than newer games like Cities: Skylines
