    Excellent long life filter

    I love this filter. Some observations: 1. Water passes more quickly through this filter than a paper filter, so all else being equal the coffee will be weaker, but smoother and have no bitterness. 2. If you grind the coffee a bit finer (I grind my own fresh each morning) and use the same amount the coffee will be stronger, just as smooth and have no bitterness, but there will be a bit more sediment in the bottom of the cup. 3. If you just use a bit more coffee or a bit less water, the coffee will be stronger, have a really nice aroma, will not be bitter and will be very smooth. I use 100% KONA on the weekends at $60 a pound so I do not like this option. 4. Because the water stays in a paper filter longer the aroma of the coffee is also stronger. 5. So it takes some experimentation to ...

    Works Well For Me

    My wife puts way too much ground coffee in it and then gets grounds in her coffee. This has not been a problem for me -- a few grounds, but nothing to upset me.
