If you like Bill Bailey, you'll love this dvd
Really enjoyed the tv series Black Books but didn't see all the earlier episodes so decided to try and get hold of Series 1 and 2 dvds. As I'm now living in Italy and can't get English tv, the dvds come in very handy. The comedy in Black Books is surreal and probably not to everybody's taste, but if you like Bll Bailey, I'm sure you'll enjoy this.

the dvd received had multiple sratches on it
it did not state that the dvd had a lot of scratches all over it . I personally would not have sold it to anyone

Well black books is just great in general, what's not to like? I originally started watching it as I'm a fan of Bill Bailey. Hilariously funny, good extra features, well recommended.

Black Books - Series 2 (DVD)
Second only to Fawlty Towers, this is dry humour and sarcastic wit at its best. If you liked John Cleese, Frazier and Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, you'll love this. But look out also for the visual humour in the piano episode: when our two heroes are pretend-playing the piano (and trying to drink their wine at the same time). Awesome!
