The version I got was quite short in comparison to ones I’ve seen elsewhere, but if anything that seemed to make installation easier. Installation itself is a bit of a faff and it didn’t come with instructions, but YouTube is full of videos of people doing the same thing, so it’s really easy to do using those. Everything works perfectly and I’m happy with the product.
