    Great product (in theory)

    I have one of the motherboards that Asus claims this is supported on but for some reason the BIOS (which claim from one of the bigger brands) did not show me the option to bifurcate the PCIe lanes. I believe they are hijacking some of the lanes for other purposes (which is why it’s hidden in BIOS). Anyhow, this is a great product and I would have loved to use it but looks like I need an alternative that supports bifurcation on board.

    Works great, older motherboards results may vary

    I am using this with a couple old X79 boards with modified BIOS with PCIe bifurification. I am only able to use the first and last slots with my chipset. Newer boards should support all slots.

    Needed a third NVMe m.2 slot

    This enabled me to add a 3rd NVMe m.2 slot to my system. I put it in my second 16x slot of an Asus Tuf x570 plus motherboard. Just as fast as the NVMe on the motherboard.
