      Will know more when plums are harvested

      Arrived inngood time and well packaged. Placed in plum tree and we will await the outcome in August when picking the plums to see if they have been spared from the pests as low crop last year and plums picked all had maggot near the stone. If it works I will definately repurchase next year. Review implied the products works well so only time will tell. Plums picked in august and only a few had any moth maggots inside about 500 grm out of 24 kgs of plums so would recommend and will purchase new inner for next season.

      easy to assemble and put on tree, only know how well product worked on harvest, held off posting this review until I had seen fruit, unfortunately, it didn seem to work, I used propriotity stray at the correct time, and still got moth lavi

      OK

      The instructions make clear that this only traps male moths. Its use is in telling you when to spray. On its own it does not catch enough moths to do the job. Gardening books tell you which week to spray and you could save yourself some money and spray when the book says.

      great although expensive for what it is made of

      I think the product is great and unfortunately necessary, albeit it seems expensive for a bit of plastic and two very small pieces of pesticide. I will need to get quite a few pounds of plums to make it worthwhile.

      Save Your Plums!

      I was doubtful about the effectiveness of this item but as my plums were being ruined by these burrowing pests I bought one, worked out how to assemble it (easy enough, it's like a wee house) and hung it in the effected tree. First day there were half a dozen trapped males (I think they were males anyway, I didn't check!) Over the next week more and more were stuck in the goo inside the trap. No more signs of damage so I am delighted to recommend this trap.
