    Effective plum moth control

    I have been using this product for many years. It traps male moths which then cannot fertilise the eggs of the female moths. In a good year this in itself is enough to stop the grubs eating into the plums. In a summer of a plague of moths when the trap captures any moths and the trap is densely covered quickly with the male moths, say in a couple of weeks, it is essential to spray the tree with a liquid product which kills male and female moths. To,use the trap effectively use in May, then you will need a fresh refill for the month so July.

    It’s early days

    It is a different brand to my usual one but is sticky & has the pheromone lure. Will see in September when I pick the plums but at the moment I have every confidence

    Well worth it to protect your plums

    I have been using these in my trap for years and if used as instructed they really help to reduce plum grubs. I bought the refills as I already have a trap. The pheromones are in a little ‘pod’ that lures the moth in and you put on the sticky sheet and that get stuck. If you love fresh plums well worth it. Great service from placing my order to prompt delivery

    Plum moth pest-specific pest control

    I used this product last year and it was successful in catching plum moths which have been a problem on our plum trees. The later ripening fruit was generally free of maggots.
