The rod was poorly packaged and not labelled fragile. It was delivered broken. The seller took two days to reply to messages. When posted and sent confirmation I received a reply within an hour. Seller received the item via parcel force and says later I have still not received my refund. I would not recommend to ebayers. I am a long term user and this is poor and unsatisfactory.

Exactly as described, well pleased about the item .. however received from Courier with one end of the bag cut open exposing the box inside .. would seriously doubt it left the seller in this condition, also looked like the inner box had been re-sellotaped back up .. would suggest a rethink on using this Courier again (ps: the driver who delivered it was very apologetic, but it wasn't his fault, probably happened at the distribution depot)

Provides good coverage and looks impressive even without a top coat.
I'm surprised this product isn't more widely available, since it is easy to work with and covers well with a single coat. Unlike Hammerite's "straight to metal" paint products it is not prone to runs, provided the brush is not overlloaded. The shade of matt grey is accurately represented on the tin and looks good just as is. My only gripe is that it does not appear to be produced in tins larger than 250ml capacity - for my particular application I required a litre, so buying that quantity in 4 small tins was more expensive than need be. Bought this to paint onto a rusty surfaces in a narrow boat engine bay. It goes on well with a brush but it's quite thick so doesn't go very far and certainly not the coverage stated on the tin. Covers old paint/rust and dries to a good finish ready for a top coat. It remains to be seen whether it does convert the rust or whether it will come through again. Does was it says on the tin.
This is a great product which has excellent coverage and when applied as directed stops rust returning. I have used other rust killers but found myself returning to this one,and other products in their range.

Good product, not so good supplier.
The product works well although it did dry very quickly and was hard to apply. Moreover, the tins were badly dented and the lids were held on with clips. One of the tins was leaking, so not impressed with the supplier.
