The rod was poorly packaged and not labelled fragile. It was delivered broken. The seller took two days to reply to messages. When posted and sent confirmation I received a reply within an hour. Seller received the item via parcel force and says later I have still not received my refund. I would not recommend to ebayers. I am a long term user and this is poor and unsatisfactory.

Exactly as described, well pleased about the item .. however received from Courier with one end of the bag cut open exposing the box inside .. would seriously doubt it left the seller in this condition, also looked like the inner box had been re-sellotaped back up .. would suggest a rethink on using this Courier again (ps: the driver who delivered it was very apologetic, but it wasn't his fault, probably happened at the distribution depot)

Does a good job
Used on garden furniture that was showing rust 'pitting' areas. Rubbed down with a wire brush then applied two thin coats of Hammerite, leaving to completely dry between coats. I applied small amounts and worked it out well and it dried very quickly. This has given a good finish and I hope it will last - but I have plenty of paint left, just in case it doesn't. It was used to repaint a "village-type" hand pump in the garden, which previously had been treated with standard paint which had started to lift from the primer. This paint had to be totally removed using a wire brush on a drill revealing rust in places. The Hammerite covered the pump surface evenly and smoothly. Two coats were given which gave confidence of a long-lasting finish. Great Product.
Easy to apply and gives a great waterproof finish. I used it on a wheelbarrow that was starting to rust in certain areas. I painted the whole wheelbarrow and it looks good and when it rained the water just balled up on the surface.
