    Not to happy with the soft and out of focus images at smaller apertures.

    I tried it the very day I received it. I installed it on my Nikon 70-200/2.8 VRII to photograph birds in my backyard. The images were soft and a little out of focus at f4.5 to f8, just a little sharper at f11 but not at my liking. I am going to re-calibrate the lens with the converter on and hope for the best.
